Village Notice:

Friday 10/6/23, from 11am to 5 pm, the NYS Thruway Authority notified the village that they will use Waldron Terrace, one way inward and exit South via the thruway for the delivery of 20 concrete trucks.

Their reasoning for using Waldron Terrace is that it is unsafe for the concrete trucks to do a turn around on the thruway and accelerate with an active revolving load of wet concrete, the contents have a limited shelf life and must be delivered in a timely manner. The Thruway Authority will have an inspection vehicle following the convoy to assure that no potentially spilled concrete lands on Waldron Terrace. Ramapo Police Department has been notified of the pending delivery.

The project estimated completion is set for the 2nd quarter of 2024.

There will also be a phone notification today to alert the surrounding residents.
