A third generation and life long Sloatsburg resident continuing his family's legacy of service. He graduated Sloatsburg Elementary and Suffern High Schools, receiving the Trooper Robert V. Conklin award. Upon completion, Marc pursued his higher education at Sacred Heart University. While attending the university, he volunteered with numerous organizations which taught financial literacy to underprivileged middle and high school students. Continuing his volunteer work, he also tutored fellow students and local high schools students in various school subjects. Along with his volunteer work, Marc excelled academically, graduating Summa Cum Laude with dual majors in Finance and Economics. He was the recipient of the Silver Medal of Excellence in the study of economics and named the John F. Welch Scholar of the University. Marc has spent his post university career working in finance and financial technology.
Locally, Marc continues to give his time volunteering in the Village. He has spent 15 years as a member of the Sloatsburg Fire Department and over 10 years as a member of the Sloatsburg Zoning Board of Appeals. Recently, he has given his time to projects involving the Friends of the Library. He continues to stay involved in his community as he believes community involvement is essential to help foster growth for Sloatsburg. Since Sloatsburg and its residents have helped shaped Marc's life in many ways, he looks forward to working with the residents to help shape its future.
