Local Ambulance Coverage Restored

The Town of Ramapo has restored local ambulance coverage to the Village of Sloatsburg. No longer will a dispatched ambulance have to respond from Good Samaritan Hospital to the village.

If a village resident needs an ambulance it will respond from the Sloatsburg Ambulance Corp's building.

There will be an ambulance stationed there 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

The Chief of Spring Hill, the town contracted service provider for the village, has indicated that he would like to see the reformation of the Sloatsburg Ambulance Corp and its members would be welcomed to respond to any and all village calls.

Also the upstairs community room built by a local eagle scout is available and independent of ambulance operations, please call Sgt. Sanchez at the Ramapo Police Department.
